Making Fine metalwork for the individual
Peter Rowland has been designing and creating his unique pieces since starting the business in 1995, each one inspired by the magnificent surroundings of his workshop situated in Orphir Orkney, overlooking the Hoy Hills.
He is a craftsman who uses traditional techniques such as raising, chasing, planishing and engraving to create one off pieces, commissioned by individuals and businesses.
As well as working in Silver, gold and other metals he is one of the few people in the British Isles that uses and makes his own Damascus Steel and Mokume Gane, these are materials he uses in his Sgian dhus and jewellery.
Examples of his work can be seen at his workshop, together with photos of previous commissions undertaken. If you would like to visit, it is advisable to telephone first to ensure that we are available to give you the time to discuss your requirements!
